My research examines insider behavior, securities regulation, and shareholder voice. I study how regulatory and legal changes shape corporate insiders' actions and influence shareholder behavior.
My dissertation investigates how the SEC's modernization of insider trading regulations affects stock donation behavior, documenting a deterrence of legitimate charitable giving. Other projects explore shareholder proposals, shareholder litigation, and the financial implications of hybrid governance models.
